Back when Laura first wrote me about doing wedding photography, she had described her diy country/rustic wedding and it sounded right up my alley and sounded so beautiful. It wasn't until recently, the venue had to change as their barn venue had to undergo construction, and boy am I ever happy it did!
Laura & Alex (owners of Shine Juice Bar & Cafe in Orillia), planned a dreamy, perfect wedding where the ceremony took place on the beach/boat launch down the street from their home and then the reception was in the backyard of their beautiful home. Knowing Laura for quite some time now, I knew she was creative and was going to do an amazing job with the decor and I knew their food was going to be delicious because of Alex's skills in the kitchen BUT they blew my expectations out of the water.
Every little detail in the design and decor was thought of, every bit of food was made with love and was so darn good and they were the most easy going laid back couple... ever. I had so much fun capturing their day and meeting all the amazing people that surround them.
If you haven't gone to their restaurant GO!
A & L, THANK YOU! Like I said, I had so much fun and I am so incredibly thankful I got to witness such a perfect day in person (and eat all that food haha) - The love between you two was so easy to capture because, naturally, the love just happened in every single photo and I barely had to say a word. I hope you cherish these photos forever and I can't wait to see where your future takes you and the future of Shine. You two are incredible!
-Megan xoxo
